About Billy Todzo, you really don't need to write much. Almost every Udo Jürgens admirer and every Udo fan knows the long-time friend and companion of the world star. For decades, Billy Todzo performed as a percussionist, singer, and tap dancer with the Pepe Lienhard Orchestra on major tours alongside Udo Jürgens. Unforgettable are the joint performances of the two friends, e.g., with the songs "I'm for it" or "Give me another hour", in which the multi-talented Billy, together with the great Udo Jürgens, tapped and sang. Even today, Billy is a member of the Pepe Lienhard Orchestra. Udo Jürgens and Billy Todzo were more than close friends. Because Billy not only accompanied his mentor on the stages of this world, but much more privately as a friend and personal assistant until his sudden death in December 2014, lovingly accompanied him in his old age. In November 2018, the Björn Vüllgraf Big Band thrilled the AMO in Magdeburg with "Thank you, Udo Jürgens!" together with Billy Todzo, as well as the sold-out concert hall of the Dresden Cultural Palace. Markus Sparfeldt, nationally known as "The Singing Udo Jürgens Fan" from Münster, highly appreciated in fan circles, and Billy Todzo, percussionist of the Pepe Lienhard Orchestra and long-time friend of Udo Jürgens, ideally complemented the "incredible sound body". Both concerts were a great success, which the enthusiastic audience honored with standing ovations. Markus Sparfeldt is very proud to be able to call Billy his friend today and is very grateful to have met Billy.
